Scientific calculator online — functions, powers and trigonometry

Our free scientific calculator combines everyday arithmetic with advanced mathematical functions. Use it to compute trigonometric functions (sin, cos, tan and their inverses), logarithms (ln, log) and exponential functions (eˣ, 10ˣ), as well as powers, square and cube roots, factorials, percentages, and reciprocals. The mathematical constants π and e are always at hand. Build expressions using the buttons or type directly from the keyboard — results are computed by a safe parser with no data sent to any server.

Memory, history and DEG/RAD angle mode

The calculator remembers the result of the last operation (Ans) and keeps a calculation history from which you can insert any result with a single click. The memory functions MC, MR, M+, M− and MS let you store and recall numbers during longer calculations. The DEG/RAD switch controls the unit used for angles, and your mode preference is saved for future sessions.

Frequently asked questions

Is the scientific calculator free and does it work without logging in?
Yes, completely free and without any limits. No registration required — all calculations run directly in your browser and nothing is sent to a server.
What is the difference between DEG and RAD mode?
DEG (degrees) and RAD (radians) determine the unit in which the calculator interprets angles in trigonometric functions. For example, sin(90) in DEG mode returns 1, while in RAD mode it returns a completely different value. You can find the mode switch above the keypad.
How do I calculate a power, root, or factorial?
Enter a power using the xʸ operator (e.g. 2^10), a square root with the √ button, and a cube root with ∛. Calculate a factorial by appending n! after a number (e.g. 5n! gives 120). The x² square and 1/x reciprocal buttons are also available.
Can I use the computer keyboard?
Yes. Type digits and operators directly from the keyboard, press Enter (or =) to calculate, Backspace to delete the last character, and Escape to clear the entire expression. The calculation history lets you insert any previous result with a single click.
