How does cropping and scaling work?

In Crop mode the image is scaled to fill the target frame and the excess edges are trimmed from the center. The effect is identical to the CSS object-fit: cover property — the image always fills the entire area without white bars. In Fit mode the whole image fits within the frame while maintaining proportions, and any free space is filled with the chosen background color — useful for logos and graphics with transparency. After processing you see the resulting dimensions and file size before downloading.
