Discount Calculator
Calculate price after discount, amount saved and percentage reduction — including stacked discounts.
Watch out for stacked discounts
Two discounts of 50% + 50% do not equal 100% off — you still pay 25% of the price! Each subsequent discount is applied to the already-reduced amount, so the total saving is always less than the sum of both percentages.

Discount calculator — how to use it?
Enter the original price and the discount percentage, and the calculator instantly computes the discounted price, the savings amount and the total percentage reduction. If you have an additional coupon code or the shop applies multi-stage markdowns (common on Black Friday and seasonal sales), enter the second discount — the calculator will show the intermediate price after the first discount and the final price after both reductions combined.
Full privacy — calculations run locally
The discount calculator runs entirely in your browser. No data you enter is sent to a server — the price, percentages and results exist only on your device. The entered values are saved in browser storage, so you do not need to re-enter them after refreshing the page.
Frequently asked questions
- How do you calculate a discounted price?
- Multiply the original price by (1 - discount/100). Example: price 200, discount 30% → 200 × 0.70 = 140. The calculator does this automatically and also shows the savings amount.
- How do stacked discounts work — two discounts applied one after another?
- The second discount is applied to the price already reduced by the first, not to the original price. That is why 20% + 20% is not 40% but a combined discount of 36% (100% − 80% × 80%). The calculator shows the intermediate price and the true combined discount percentage.
- How is a discount calculator useful on Black Friday?
- Shops often combine several promotions: a seasonal markdown, a coupon code and a loyalty discount. A discount calculator lets you quickly check the real final price and actual savings percentage before you decide to buy.
